Being a Research Assistant Workshop

Come join us for Psi Chi's "Being a Research Assistant" Workshop hosted by Dr. Raman.  This workshop aims to give psychology students a window into the life of being a research assistant by outlining some of the the day-to-day activites of a RA in and out of the lab, while exploring many of the opportunities that come with this position, such as developing essential research experience in preparation for attending graduate school.  In addition to Dr. Raman's presentation, many student research assistants from various labs, along with professors from the psychology department will be availabile to address students' concerns and answer questions.  This event will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 12pm - 1pm in the Lake Michigan Room of the Oakland Center.  This event is free and open to all Oakland University students and food and bevages will be provided.
