Depression/Anxiety Screening

Wednesday, November 7, 2012 - 11:00am to 1:00pm

Dr. Schwartz is looking for 10 volunteers to help with the Depression/Anxiety Screening.  This is a great opportunity to get involved in a campus event and help raise awareness on campus about issues surrounding emotional well-being.  Also, it is an excellent  addition to your resume.  For anyone planning on applying to graduate psychology or counseling programs, this is something that can help separate yourself from other students.  In exchange for your volunteer efforts, he will be meeting with the volunteers at 10am on that day to do a brief training (at the Counseling Center in the Graham Health Center Building).  Dr. Schwartz will teach the volunteers how to screen, score, and interpret the instrument. He will also be available to answer any questions they may have about graduate school and working in the field.  The first 10 students who respond to his email will be selected.  He can be reached at
